It's a tattoo!

Looky! Someone I've never met asked permission and got a tattoo of a sketch I did.  As far as I know, that's a first! Yay!

(If there's anyone else out there who's gotten a tattoo of my work, I'd love to see it!)

I sure love drawing the animals at the zoo.  Even the homo sapiens sometimes. 

Life Drawing!

I made it to a life drawing session for the first time in a while.  These vary from 10-30 minutes.

Painting with Watercolor

Sometimes ya gotta stretch those creative skills and try something you've never done.  Or maybe just something you haven't done in a long time.  I've been taking a painting class, and trying to push my boundaries and creative comfort zones.

Testing the waters. As in, colors. As in, paints.

I don't usually focus much time on one image, but this one arrested me until I got the colors and texture working.  I'm rather enjoying watercolor paints.
